Drummer Brian Banfield moving on, drummer Dan Blomquist taking over

As some of you may know, our drummer Brian Banfield is headed to LA next month with his lovely wife Maranda. Brian has been integral to Benthic Realm with his powerhouse drumming style. While we are sad he is leaving, we are happy we had the last year to write and record some great music with him, and wish him well with the move out west. Brian’s last show with us will be on September 15th at the 13th Floor Lounge in Florence, MA.

Brian has encouraged us to continue on as he is just as proud of these songs as we are.

On that note, we’d like to welcome Dan Blomquist to the group! He’ll be pulling drum double-duty in Conclave and Benthic Realm. Dan’s first show with us will be Saturday, September 16th at O’Briens Pub in Allston, MA.

Hope to see many familiar faces at both shows. Doom on!
